Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai has approved Sri Sakthi Academy as a Community College exclusively for Special Children in April 2017.
After X and XII exams our students are left with a big question mark. To take them to a next best level, the idea of Community College arose.
The students who have completed Class X and XII can enroll in job oriented Vocational Diploma Courses such as Diploma in Computer Application, Diploma in Desktop Printing, Diploma in Data Entry, Diploma in Animation, Diploma in Catering Management and Diploma in Tailoring.
The job oriented Diploma Courses in Computer will train them in Front Office giving them more job opportunities outside. The exposure given to them confidence when seeking jobs.
A couple of students from the school have attended an interview in a corporate concern, which by itself is an achievement.
